Gold Award at National Balloon Show 2006

For the second year running, Creative Balloons have exhibited at the NABAS show in Birmingham, this year achieving a gold award for our table centerpiece, a silver for our delivery bouquet, and a bronze for the large sculpture category (photo courtesy of the Balloon Consultant). Samuel also attended classes in creating table centres and new sculpture techniques, and was able to view many new products including balloon lights and bubble balloons, which he hopes to start incorporating into his designs. |

Ipswich Balloon Release Winners
Balloons released at St John's Church in Ipswich, Suffolk have been returning over the last fortnight, and the winners are as follows - Sender: Clare Carr, Finder: Dan Smith in Sizewell. Both of these receive £25 prize money.
Cambridge Release balloons found in Poland
Balloons released at a wedding in Waterbeach, near Cambridge, have been returned to the happy couple from places as far away as Berlin and Poland! Previous releases have been discovered all over East Anglia, but this is the first time a reply has been received from across the channel.
Creative Balloons win
Silver at the International Party Show Creative Balloons entered the
competitions at the International Party Show for the first time, in
April. The Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham, draws the best
decorators and twisters from the UK and Europe. Creative Balloons
brought home a silver certificate for their "Grand Opening" themed
delivery piece, and two bronze awards for their Large Sculpture of a Dalek
and "Underwater" themed table centrepiece
respectively.
Samuel Stamp-Dod CBA

In May, Creative Balloons owner Samuel Stamp-Dod completed his final exams to become a Certified Balloon Artist. Following three written papers and a rigourous four hour exam, Samuel was awarded the highest status in the balloon industry, that of CBA

Creative Balloons win Gold at National Balloon Show

Creative Balloons scooped two gold medals and Best Newcomer in Show at the recent National Balloon Show. Owner Samuel Stamp-Dod created the award winning displays for the NABAS (National Association of Balloon Artists and Suppliers) show held in Warwick in November.
We entered a New Year themed table display called ‘Putting on the Ritz’ and a delivery bouquet entitled ‘Gold at the end of the Rainbow’, which were both awarded prestigious gold medals. Together with a balloon Christmas tree entered in the large sculpture competition, the company scored the highest points overall and netted the coveted ‘Best Newcomer in Show’ title and a £500 prize. |
